The staff at this amazing hotel were incredibly helpful and made our stay unforgettable. The location was perfect for us as we were driving and exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Cantal region. The room was clean, functional, and the bed was so comfortable that we had a great night's sleep. The hotel was very quiet, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast self-service buffet had a good selection and we loved that there were facilities available for us to microwave ready meals in the evening. This was perfect for us as we wanted to relax and not eat out every meal. The hotel was also great for families with small children, with cots and a children's play area available. our experience at this value-for-money hotel was superb and we highly recommend it!

The standard of the accommodation was good for the price, very clean
Like a lot of French hotels it is based on a commercial estate, not close to the town so you have to drive for a restaurant etc.

A playground on the patio? Perfect, now I can finally get rid of my annoying children. , who needs a nearby airport when you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Massif Central and Murmur Nature?
Oh yes, nothing like a 5-minute car ride to the city center. Just what I needed, more time stuck in traffic.

Stephanie, the owner, was incredibly helpful and spoke English fluently. She seemed to know everyone staying at the hotel and made us feel welcome. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were cleaned daily. We opted to have the breakfast buffet, which had a good selection of food. the hotel felt safe with a secure entrance code after 9pm. we had a very positive experience.
Nothing to mention. 😊

We were just stopping overnight on our way to the med. We wanted a clean, cheap hotel. The rooms were very clean, the room was comfortable. The reception staff were very efficient. The hotle is on an industrial estate on the outskirts of Aurillac, which meant we had quick and easy access to the dual carriageway to start our journey the next day.

On the patio, there's a play area for young children where my kids had a blast while I sipped my coffee in peace. It was like having my own personal playground right outside the hotel!
Carpets would have been cozier.

We stayed at a cheap hotel in a quiet area. the location was great for exploring the surrounding region and it was easy to walk to a nearby bistro for a meal. the room was clean and functional, with a comfortable bed. the staff were helpful and there were facilities available to microwave ready meals in the evening. it was a good value for money option.
The range of nearby restaurants was limited.

During our stay at Aurena, we experienced exceptional customer service. We mistakenly made a reservation for the wrong date, but the staff went above and beyond to assist us and find a solution. The beds were always freshly made and the breakfast buffet provided a great selection. The hotel felt secure with the entrance code system. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Aurena in Aurillac for a couple of nights. The helpful staff and convenient location for motorists were a big plus. The clean and functional room with a comfortable bed made for a restful stay. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The self-service breakfast buffet was good, and the option to microwave ready meals in the evening was a bonus. it's a great choice for families with small children.
I recommend this hotel.
